Porsche Macan vs Porsche Cayenne : a family battle

Today we are going to compare the two Porsche suvs.

First let's have a look on the smallest one:

Porsche Macan

The Porsche Macan (Type 95B) is a luxury compact crossover utility vehicle manufactured by the German car manufacturer PorscheThe Macan was originally known by its code name Cajun, a portmanteau of Cayenne Junior. On February 16, 2012 Porsche announced the final name for the car to be Macan, taken from the Indonesian word for "tiger." Initially announced in November 2010 as a development project, and formally announced by Porsche in March 2011, the Macan was formally launched at both the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show and the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, with European sales commencing in spring 2014. The Macan is produced alongside the Panamera and the Cayenne in Leipzig, Germany in a newly extended factory. The Macan compact crossover SUV offers a more compact body than the Cayennemidsize crossover SUV. The Macan is also intended to be sportier than the Cayenne; for instance the Macan has a standard 7-speed dual-clutch PDK gearbox which is more responsive while the Cayenne has an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission for smoother shifts. The Porsche Macan shares its platform with the Audi Q5. The wheelbase and suspension configuration are based on and heavily modified from the Audi, but the engine, transfercase, suspension tuning, interior and exterior are unique to Porsche for the Macan. It is also 1.7 inches (43 mm) longer and 1.4 inches (36 mm) wider than a Q5.
At launch, three different models and engines were available, all being V6 format: a 3.0-litre Macan S with 340 PS (250 kW; 335 bhp), a 3.6-litre Macan Turbo with 400 PS (294 kW; 395 bhp) and a 3.0-litre 258 PS (190 kW; 254 bhp) Diesel, with a CO2 emissions of 159 g/km. The Macan GTS was announced in October 2015 to fit into the gap between the Macan S and Macan Turbo. All Macans feature a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, with several options available including air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Porsche subsequently released a base Macan for select Asian markets and the United Kingdom. Using a reworked version of the Volkswagen Group's 2.0-litre inline-four engine used in multiple applications such as the Audi Q5, the Macan is the first Porsche to be powered by four cylinders since the Porsche 968. This engine became offered globally for the Macan's 2017 model year following an announcement in March 2016. A 204 PS (150 kW; 201 bhp) 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel is due to join the range at a later date.

And here is the biggest one:

Porsche Cayenne
The Porsche Cayenne (Type 9PA) is a mid-size luxury crossover sport utility vehicle produced by the German manufacturer Porsche since 2002, with North American sales beginning in 2003. It is the first V8-engined vehicle built by Porsche since 1995, when the Porsche 928 was discontinued. Since 2008, all engines have featured direct injection technology. The second-generation Cayenne (Type 92A) was unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in March following an online reveal. Although the Cayenne shares its platform, body frame and doors with the similar Volkswagen Touareg, all other aspects of vehicle design, tuning and production are done in-house at Porsche. The second generation received a facelift in 2014 with minor external changes, and introduced a new plug-in E-Hybrid version, with its public launch at the Paris Motor Show. The second-generation Porsche Cayenne went on sale in April–May 2010 as a 2011 model, with an official debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. In preparation for the unveiling, the Cayenne production facility in Leipzig, Germany, closed in December 2009 to commence factory retooling for the new model, a process that took 2–3 months. The 2011 Porsche Cayenne is larger than its predecessors, but features a more slanted rear window, less upright windshield, a more sloping roofline, door-mounted mirrors, smaller windows at the rear of the vehicle, headlights inspired by the Carrera GT, taillights that extend onto the car's tailgate, LED daytime running lights and a vastly redesigned interior modeled after the Panamera. The 2011 Cayenne is almost 250 kg (550 lb) lighter than the previous models due to extensive use of aluminum and magnesium, making it more fuel efficient than the previous lineup. Despite its lower stance, the new vehicle's off-road capabilities have been retained without compromising the street performance-oriented layout and design. In addition to a diesel offering, a hybrid version is available. Also, the 2015 diesel Porsche Cayenne was in the Volkswagen emissions scandal. Standard features of the 2011 Porsche Cayenne include air conditioning with dual-zone climate controls, interior air filter, tilt/telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with radio controls, cruise control, leather upholstery, eight-way power front seats, outside-temperature indicator, and universal garage door opener in the base model. The Cayenne S adds a power sunroof and memory for the driver's seat.] The Cayenne GTS added an optional rearview camera, keyless access and start, and memory system. Finally, the most upscale Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S added a navigation system with voice recognition, premium sound system, optional four-zone climate controls, heated rear seats, and six-disc CD changer. The Cayenne's naturally aspirated and turbocharged V8 engines are shared with the Panamera and have been upgraded for faster acceleration times with more horsepower and torque, as well as more powerful direct-injection technology to improve efficiency. The base Cayenne model Cayenne is tuned to offer 300 hp. The Cayenne comes powered by a 3.6-L VR6 engine producing 300 PS (221 kW; 296 hp), the Cayenne S features the same 4.L V8 in the Panamera S models producing 400 PS (294 kW; 395 hp) and the Cayenne Turbo comes with Panamera Turbo's 4.8-L twin turbo V8 producing 500 PS (368 kW; 493 hp). The Cayenne S Hybrid uses an Volkswagen-sourced 3.0-L V6 engine producing 333 PS (245 kW; 328 hp) paired with a nickel metal hydride battery capable of 47 PS (35 kW; 46 hp) for a total of 380 PS (279 kW; 375 hp). A manual gearbox serves as the standard transmission system on the base Cayenne, with all other models featuring an eight-speed Tiptronic as standard equipment. The low-range transfer case found in the previous generation has been removed. All vehicles will feature about 10% less weight than their predecessors, 70 kg worth of standard equipment in excess of that found on the current model and a more heavily contoured rear bench. Available Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCCactive anti-roll barsAdaptive air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). In September 2012 Porsche announced the Cayenne S Diesel.[20] This model is fitted with the Volkswagen 4.1-L V8 TDI engine. In October 2012, Porsche confirmed the addition of a new Cayenne Turbo S. In July 2014, Porsche launched a facelifted Cayenne range, with minor exterior alterations and new power-train options, including a plug-in E-Hybrid and downsizing of the S model's 4.8-L V8 to a turbocharged 3.6-L V6.

Ferrari 488 GTB vs Lamborghini huracan vs McLaren 570s

Here we are with a new article guys. Today we're gonna compare 3 similar cars in performances and prices.

The first one is the new ferrari 488 GTB:

The Ferrari 488 (Tipo F142M) is a mid-engined sports car produced by the Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari, introduced in 2015 to replace the previous 458. It is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, smaller in displacement and higher in output than the 458's naturally aspirated engine. The 488 GTB was named "The Supercar of the Year 2015" by car magazine Top Gear. The 488 GTB is powered by a 3902cc (488cc per cylinder, thus the name) all-aluminium dry sump unit of the Ferrari F154 engine family. Turbocharged with two parallel ball-bearing twin-scroll turbochargers supplied by IHI/Honeywell and two air-to-air intercoolers, the compressor wheels are made of low-density TiAl alloy often used in jet engines to reduce inertia and resist high temperatures within the turbocharger. The engine produces 670 PS (493 kW; 661 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 760 N·m (561 lb·ft) of torque at 3,000 rpm. This results in a specific power output of 126.3 kW (171.7 PS; 169.4 hp) per litre and specific torque output of 194.8 N·m (144 lbf·ft) per litre, both records for a Ferrari car. The only available transmission for the 488 is an automated manual dual-clutch 7-speed F1 gearbox manufactured for Ferrari by Getrag, based on the gearbox used in the 458. Improved carbon-ceramic brakes are supplied on the 488, derived from technology used in LaFerrari, constructed with new materials that reduce the time needed to achieve optimum operating temperature. Disc sizes are 398 mm at the front, and 360 mm at the rear. These advancements reportedly reduce stopping distances by 9% over the 458. A new 5-spoke alloy wheel was designed for the 488, measuring 51 centimetres (20 in) front and rear. Front tires measure 245/35 with rears 305/30.

The second one is the lamborghini huracan:

The Lamborghini Huracán (Spanish for "hurricane"; [uɾaˈkan]) is a sports car built by Lamborghini, replacing Lamborghini's sales leader and most produced car, the Gallardo. The Huracán made its auto show debut at the March 2014 Geneva Auto Show, and was released in the second quarter of 2014.hanges from Gallardo included full LED illumination, a 12.3 inch full-colour TFT instrument panel, Fine Nappa leather and Alcantara interior upholstery, redesigned dashboard and central tunnel, Iniezione Diretta Stratificata (IDS, essentially an adapted version of parent Audi's Fuel Stratified Injection) direct and indirect gasoline injections, engine Stop & Start technology, EU6 emissions regulation compliance, Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF) 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with 3 modes (STRADA, SPORT and CORSA), 20 inch wheels, carbon-ceramic brake system, optional Lamborghini Dynamic Steering variable steering system and MagneRideelectromagnetic damper control. The vehicle was unveiled at the March 2014 Geneva Motor Show, and deliveries began in the second quarter of 2014. The Huracán is comparable to the McLaren 650S and the Ferrari 458 Speciale (as well as its successor, the 488 GTB). The price of the Huracán with extra options added reaches to over US$320,000, or £200,000. The base price for the Huracán in the United States is US$241,945, and around £180,720 in the UK. Extra options that increase the price of the car include interior enhancements, special paint schemes, improved suspension, and a lifting system, as well as multiple components optionally available in carbon fiber, rather than aluminium. Taiwan models went on sale for NT$15,080,000. In early 2015, the Huracán appeared on the motoring magazine Top Gear. It got a neutral review from Richard Hammond who said that it was too tame to be a "proper Lamborghini." However, it got around the Top Gear test track in 1:15.8 which is faster than any other Lamborghini to go around the track to date, including the Aventador.

And the last  but not least is the McLaren 570s:

The McLaren 570S is a sports car designed and manufactured by McLaren Automotive. It was unveiled at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. McLaren predicts the model will help triple the company's sales volume by 2020, with UK pricing scheduled at £143,250, whilst North American pricing is estimated at $180,000.The car is powered by a new iteration of the 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine already used in the McLaren 650S and P1, designated M838T E with thirty percent of the parts redesigned. Arranged in the car as a rear-mid engine configuration, it delivers 562 brake horsepower (419 kW) through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. A total weight of 1,313 kilograms (2,895 lb) gives the 570S a power to weight ratio of 428 brake horsepower (319 kW) per tonne, delivering a fuel economy of 25.5 miles per imperial gallon (11.1 L/100 km; 21.2 mpg-US) and CO2 emissions of 258 g/km. McLaren focused on delivering "day-to-day usability and driveability" against the most sporting model options in its range with increased luggage space, greater interior storage and leather upholstery options.

Bentley continental gt vs rolls royce

Since it launched 13 years ago, Bentley’s Continental GT has seen a host of incremental improvements. Originally available solely powered by Volkswagen’s complex, compact W-12, the baby Bentley saw perhaps its biggest change when a V-8 engine option became available for 2013. Wearing the flying B accented with red, rather than the traditional black of the 12-cylinder cars, the V-8 models barely suffered in straight-line performance, while the reduced weight on the nose made the 21st century’s Beverly Hills taxi a whole lot more fun to hurl down a winding road. While Bentley’s W-12 models receive a revised engine for 2016, the Continental GT V8 S continues with the same 521-hp variant of the Volkswagen Group’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8. All Contis get revised, sharper creases in the sheetmetal, a smaller grille, and a restyled decklid. Inside, the steering wheel shrinks a bit, the center console has been redone, and new materials choices are available, including stone veneers for those who prefer to knock on something a shade harder than wood and less common than carbon fiber. In a sop to modern life, in-car Wi-Fi now is an available option.

Last year's changes to the Ghost, earning the Series II designation, brought some moderate revisions to a successful Rolls-Royce model, keeping the interest up without diminishing the striking looks and audacious levels of luxury. For 2016, the Ghost Series II is unchanged. The Ghost continues to be propelled by a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 engine with 563 horsepower and 575 pound-feet of torque for effortless power and refinement, despite the car's weighty 5,445-pound mass—5,556 pounds if you go for the extended-wheelbase form. Acceleration from 0-60 mph happens in a brisk 4.8 seconds. The Series II brought a new 8-speed automatic that features what Rolls-Royce calls "Satellite Aided Transmission technology," that allowed the Ghost to predict and select gears based on the road’s bends and rises. This smooths out the driving for minimal shifting intrusion that could disturb the atmosphere in the leather and wood-lined cabin. While it shouldn't be a surprise the Ghost cossets and pampers its passengers, it may come as a shock that it's also responsive to drive. Press the accelerator, and it glides forward—rapidly—seemingly without any effort exerted on its part. Press on the brakes and its slows promptly, with a minimum of fuss. Turn the wheel, and you’ll find slightly more feedback than in the previous Ghost thanks to a new steering configuration, and that steering wheel rim will be thicker for greater comfort. This is, after all, the Rolls-Royce to drive, rather than be driven in. The ride quality is where a Rolls-Royce has to succeed and the Ghost truly shines. Size, weight, and very large wheels coupled with fairly low-profile tires, are known enemies of good ride quality; it can be very difficult to tune a car to control such a combination of physics while also coddling the occupants. Rolls-Royce’s engineers have figured out how.

Mercedes amg gt

The Mercedes-AMG GT (C190) is a 2-door, 2-seat grand tourer coupé produced by Mercedes-AMG. The sports car was presented on September 9, 2014 and was officially unveiled to the public in October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show. After the SLS AMG, it is the second sports car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG. The car is produced in two performance variations, with the Mercedes-AMG GT S (C120) having a slightly higher performance. Both models went on sale in March 2015, with a GT3 racing variant of the car expected to be released in 2016. All variants are assembled at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen, Germany. The interior of the Mercedes-AMG GT was previewed on April 16, 2014. The car made its debut on September 9, 2014 and was officially unveiled to the public in October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show with two performance options: the GT, with 340 kW (462 PS; 456 bhp), and the GT S with 375 kW (510 PS; 503 bhp). The GT has 600 N·m (443 lb·ft) of torque, and the GT S has 650 N·m (479 lb·ft) of torque. The Mercedes-AMG GT S is Formula 1's current safety car, having made its debut in that role at the 2015 Australian Grand Prix.Shortly after its release, Mercedes-AMG CEO Tobias Moers promised a Black Series variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT. Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that the new Mercedes-AMG GT S will cost starting at $129,900. The AMG GT's exterior design was kept similar to that of the preceding SLS AMG. It features the wide wheel arches and lower bodywork of the SLS, but does not employ its gullwing doors. The large hood and slim windscreen have also stayed the same. The exterior lead designer was Mark Fetherston, whose previous works include the W176 A-Class, the CLA-Class and the SLS. The interior, designed by Jan Kaul, features a large center console and decorative elements in a leather and carbon polymer design. The trunk offers room for a medium-sized suitcase. The vehicle structure is made up of 93% aluminum, with the front module base made up of magnesium.

                            porsche 911

The Porsche 911 (pronounced Nine Eleven or GermanNeunelf) is a two-door, 2+2 high performance sports car made since 1963 by PorscheAG of Stuttgart, Germany. It has a rear-mounted six cylinder boxer engine and all round independent suspension. It has undergone continuous development, though the basic concept has remained little changed. The engines were air-cooled until the introduction of the Type 996 in 1998, with Porsche's "993" series, produced in model years 1995-1998, being the last of the air-cooled Porsches. The newly facelifted 991-gen Porsche sports car, though it’s not the more angular bumpers, lumpy rear lights and fresh wheel designs that make it controversial. This is the first 911 Carrera to be turbocharged. Not to be confused with the proper 911 Turbo, the new Carrera and Carrera S have lost their 3.4 and 3.8-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engines, in favour of an all-new, 20bhp and 44lb ft healthier 3.0-litre bi-turbo engine that develops 365bhp, or 414bhp in the £9,445 pricier S model.

Which one do you prefer guys ?
